When a production includes intimate contact, actors are expected to abide by the guidance of the Director and/or Intimacy Coordinator. The Director, Stage Manager or Producer is the responsible individual during production and rehearsals. The House Manager or Box Office Manager is the point of contact for any volunteer or patron during a show. Harassment may include, but is not limited to, invading another person’s personal space such as inappropriate touching sending or displaying sexually explicit objects or messages commenting on someone’s looks, dress, sexuality or gender in a derogatory manner making comments, jokes or gestures that humiliate or might offend someone engaging in bullying and aggressive or frightening behavior, making some benefits contingent on sexual contact, or otherwise engaging in behavior based on any protected characteristic that interferes with enjoyment of the volunteer relationship.
